Welcome back Room 9! I hope you all enjoyed your 2 weeks off as much as we did. We heard from the class that everyone’s Passover seders were meaningful and special. It was a treat to see the kids walk in on Monday morning with huge smiles on their faces and even a little bit taller.
What a treat it was to come back to celebrate Mothers and Grandmothers. We have been busy with crafts and reading stories about how special mommies are in our lives. Thank you to everyone who came to visit at any point of the week. It is always special to share with you all what we do every day in class. Next week is Israel’s birthday. We have started discussing and reading books about this amazing place we feel such a strong connection with. We have heard stories from the children already about their trips they have taken to Israel, and we are learning so much. Next week we will have a chance to pretend like we are in an Israeli market and walk around and sample and taste some amazing foods just like we are in fact in Israel. We cannot wait! Shabbat Shalom, Rachel and Linda REMINDERS: -Share day is every Friday! We have completed the alphabet. Next week will be free choice for a share item! We are excited to see what comes in! -Shabbat helper Friday, May 20th is Julian T!! -Library helper May 11th Jordan!
