Another short week, but don’t worry… We kept busy and learned a lot! We continued focusing on the concept of patterns. Patterns are everywhere! The children were able to create patterns by connecting chains, using colored blocks, looking at different types of tickers and even various animals. These activities allow for enthusiastic and creative work while ensuring that each child understands the repetitive qualities of patterns.
The children are also budding architects. They have begun making a city with found materials around the school and recycled objects. It was so difficult to transition to another activity because they were working so hard and were so dedicated. They will continue to add to this miraculous project throughout the year. We are working on Shabbat Shalom, Rachel and Linda REMINDERS: -Share day is Friday! We will continue with the letter of the week! Please have your child bring in something that begins with the letter "E" on Friday, October 23rd. -Shabbat helper Friday, October 23rd Adam!! -Library helper October 28th Melissa! Thank you in advance. -October 28th and 29th Parent/Teacher Conferences. -Book Fair in Hershenson Hall November 1st-6th!!!
