Hanukkah oh Hanukkah!!! As we say goodbye to one holiday, we say hello to another one! When our kids walked through the door on Monday, they were in awe of all the Hanukkah decorations that literally lit up our room! We have Hanukkiot, dreidles, books and even lights all over the room to get us all in the spirit of Hanukkah. We have been talking about the story of Hanukkah and getting ready for our Hanukkah celebration. We cannot wait to sing songs and eat delicious treats with all of you on Tuesday, December 8th at 11:30! They used their creative minds to make their own hannukiah to take home and light with their families. You will be amazed in how beautiful they turned out. We cannot wait to show you other surprises we have in store! Shabbat Shalom, Rachel and Linda REMINDERS: -Light Up Literacy campaign! We are joining the Elementary school this year to buy books for children in Guatemala that unfortunately do not have many books. Just $2 buys one book for a child. Thank you in advance for helping us teach the children Hanukkah is also for giving! -Our class Hanukkah party is December 8th at 11:30. All parents are welcome to join and celebrate. (No siblings please). -Our Hanukkah Tot Shabbat is on Friday evening, December 11 at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a Shabbat service with Rabbi Josh and Ditza, along with a community candle lighting, a traditional Hanukkah dinner and tremendous fun afterwards with the Beat Buds. Please have your child bring in something that begins with the letter "K" on Friday, December 11th. -Shabbat helper Friday, December 11th is Samuel!! -Library helper December 16th is Elana!
