This has been a fun-filled week of preparing for our Hanukkah party. The children have been diligently practicing their songs for the Hanukkah party. They can't wait to sing to you and teach you all your part in the songs. The children finished their presents for you for Hanukkah that you will receive at the party. We have been working hard on designing and making our Hanukkiyot. Each child was given a base for their Hanukkiyah. Some chose to make the candle holders by using patterns and others used decorative tile for theirs. They decorated their base with beautiful shells. We worked very hard on our Maccabee hats that we will wear during the party.
This week also turned into a puzzle week. The children enjoyed making puzzles all around the room. Everyone was able to complete the puzzles with very little teacher assistance. They are extremely proud when they finish a puzzle. Thank you to Alison and Golareh for reading to our children during library time. They love spending time in the library looking at the different books. Reminders We look forward to seeing you at the Hanukkah party Tuesday the 13th at 11:30. Next week we look forward to our all school Shabbat with Jonah and his family. Friday the 16th will be a noon dismal.
