This week the class has been working on a building project. First we found empty boxes and we painted them. Then we had to come up with a plan to make a castle. The children had many suggestions on how to make the castle and all together we worked on putting it together. When the castle was finished all the children made decorations. We then went to the yard and it was time to play in the castle. Some were the princesses and others were the guards, making sure the castle was not broken. This castle came about because we are learning about the story of Purim. The story is about Queen Esther and her Uncle Mordehai and how they saved the Jewish people of Shushan. They lived in a castle and so we decided to make our own. The children are also working on their fine motor skills weaving baskets for mishloach manot. On Thursday, everyone looked so nice for picture day!!!! Shabbat Shalom, Anne and Vera Reminders: -March 6th: DADITUDE on the Witzman Playground from 9:15 – 10:45 a.m. -March 16/17: Parent-Teacher conferences
