Although it has been a short week in room 3, we have introduced the delightful holiday Tu’Bshevat. The children compare and contrast the tree’s birthday with their own birthdays, and have discussions about why trees benefit our environment. The kids are excited to try a variety of fresh and dried fruit during our Pre-K Tu’Bshevat celebration on February 4th. Next week, we will read more about the effect trees have on us and our surroundings, and provide a lot more details of this enriching holiday. Our students can’t get their hands off of books! They approach reading with excitement as often as possible. We are so proud of their motivation to identify letters and short words; and the language they have been using to describe the details within stories. The children are demonstrating teamwork and leadership skills with one another. We are looking forward to another week with your wonderful children! Shabbat Shalom and enjoy your weekend. With love, Vera and Karen RemindersSnack Mom for week of January 26: Nichole Leslie
