Purim is only a few weeks away and the children have been excited to hear stories and sing songs. So far, we have introduced the different characters and discussed the historical facts within this fun holiday.
The class has been working on creating the zoo in our ‘community room.’ They have done a magnificent job putting together Lego pieces to demonstrate what a zoo looks like in real life. They are using their fine motor skills to effectively complete tasks including separating Legos, putting animals together, and attaching all the pieces. The children are applying their imagination and creativity into the building process and are using specific details to complete this part of the project. The children have been working independently on writing their last names as well as recognizing and identifying the letters in their names. They participate in activities that are related to stories and books, and spend a lot of time in the library section of our classroom. We are looking forward to another productive week. Shabbat Shalom and have a fabulous weekend! Vera &Karen Reminders: Picture day: Wednesday, February 18 Shabbat girl for February 20: Iman
