Dear Parents
This week we continued working on Thanksgiving, the children are finishing their necklaces and are now working on their headbands which involve they’re using patterns and if when you see, they are more and more complex.. . We discussed habitat and learned that people can live in different kinds of houses. The Native Americans lived in tepees while the pilgrims built cabins. We talked about the differences in their stricture and learned that in order for a building to be strong, they need a strong foundation. “Structure” is the beginning unit of our new Wise Learning Process from USC we are to learn how so many things need a structure to exist.. The children are slowly learning to recognize structures around them. We are also starting to learn about Hanukkah as it is approaching fast!!! A sign-up sheet for the Hanukkah party will be posted shortly. The party will be on Tuesday December 8th in our classroom. Shabbat Shalom, Anne and Vera REMINDERS: Daditude is this Sunday, November 22nd from 9:15 – 10:45 a.m. Dads can enjoy the morning networking and chatting with each other while your children play on the Witzman Yard.
