What an exciting week we had!
The Hanukkah party was a tremendous success. We were so proud of all of our students~ We want to thank all the parents for coming and participating. We had a blast! All week we have been playing with our Hanukkah games: Toss the Dreidel: teaching the children to aim and bowling with the Hanukkah candles!!! We are also working on the dreidel game and learning to spin the small dreidel. We discovered that the small dreidels are more difficult to spin and it takes a lot of practice to learn. We learned that depending on what letter the dreidel falls, we either have to add or remove coins from the basket. Last Friday was our first class in the science lab. We met our science teachers and we also met a bearded dragon named Mr. B. The children enjoyed learning about the dragon's senses and discovered that animals have senses just like we do. Shabbat Shalom. Anne and Vera Reminders: - Friday December 18: early dismissal. -December 21 to January 3rd: winter break -January 4th: school resumes -January 18th: Martin Luther king Jr day, no school.
