It was a short week, but that didn’t stop up from having fun and working hard! We are continuing to focus on the Native Americans. We started the process of making our own dream catchers. We talked about why these were made long ago, and how we can use them today. They painted the first part of their own and are beginning to finish up the process of weaving the string through to catch their bad dreams. We were able to make our own little challahs again! It is so interesting to hear the conversations that go on while kneading the dough and making their own creations. The best part is to see how it tastes once it is done cooking! The kids had so much fun making their own challahs to take home and share with their families. We are getting to be experts at writing our names in the morning. We continue to practice upper case and lower case letters. We are now finished with letter E and moving on to letter F! The kids have such a great time talking about words that begin with these letters, and playing games with the way these letters look and sound! It was a short week, but what a fun and exciting one!
