Is it really November already? It is one week into November and Room 9 is busy learning a lot about Native Americans, Thanksgiving and the details of how it all began. They started by observing the fabulous artifacts that are in our room. They have been asking so many questions about it all and are so curious. We have told stories, read books and are continuing to research, build and create with materials around the room. They made magnificent dream catchers. They learned all about the process of making them, why we make them and were able to talk about their own good and bad dreams they have all had. They even asked if the teachers had dreams. Overall, the experiences we have had and made so far this month have been outstanding.
We hope you all had a chance to visit the amazing Book Fair at Wise school. The love of reading and books starts at such a young age. Our class loves looking at books and reading them together. Thank you again to the families that bought books for our classroom. We have already started reading them together, and we are putting them into our library for the kids to look at!
