In Room 9 we are thankful for so many things. We loved working on our Thanksgiving journal page because we got to sit with each child and listen to what they are thankful for and why. They drew their picture to go along with the Native Americans they have been learning so deeply about.
On Tuesday we got together as a Pre-K community to enjoy a feast together. Thanksgiving is a holiday where groups of people get together to celebrate freedom and giving thanks. Our kids were extremely thankful to sit with friends from other classes and listen to the thanksgiving story together. We were lucky enough to get to enjoy this time outside in our new space right outside the gym on the Katz Pavilion. We heard the kids in amazement looking around at our new beautiful space. We enjoyed many traditional foods and the kids tried it all. We hope you all have a nice holiday celebrating with friends and family. We are thankful for all of you and the fact that we get to spend each and every day teaching your children.
