How has the year flown by so quickly?! Hanukkah is coming and we can feel the excitement in Room 9! We have been hard at work making hannukiot, candle headbands, playing dreidle, singing Hanukkah songs and reading stories about Hanukkah. The children are looking forward to our class Hanukkah party on December 16 at 12:00 p.m.! See you there! We talked about words that started with “H” and were able to come up with so many words. It was a coincidence that Hanukkah is coming and we were talking about the letter “H”. We took a fieldtrip to the Wise School office where we got to visit the office staff and color in our Light Up Literacy candle. They were able to see the participation that other classes in Pre-K and the Elementary school had done. We colored in our candle, and they were proud to be doing such a huge mitzvah. The last day to bring in money to buy a book for a child in Guatemala is Tuesday! Thank you everyone for participating!
