Happy Hanukkah to all our friends in Room 9! What a fabulous, successful Hanukkah party! We loved seeing all of you at the party. Thank you all for taking the time to come and spend such a special time with your child. It meant a lot to them and to us!
We were able to visit the Beit Issie Farmer’s Market this week where all our kids enjoyed a delicious fruit cup to donate our money to support our special friend, Nika. What an amazing mitzvah. We talked about the letter “I” this week! It was interesting to them to know that there are two sounds for the letter I. Our favorite word that starts with “I” is Ice-cream! Important dates and reminders: December 22-January 5 Winter Break! We hope you all enjoy a nice holiday and vacation. January 5 we will see you back at school! Shabbat helper is Ashton January 9. (Please be here by 10:30 A.M with hallah and a plant to celebrate with the class). Please also bring one special item your family uses at your Shabbat table at home! Example: candle sticks, Kiddush cup, hallah plate etc. Library: January 13 Max (Thank you in advance). Healthy snack: Thank you to Ari for this week of healthy snacks. The kids have really enjoyed them. Our first week back is Ben! Thank you in advance! Share day is every Friday. The week we come back will be the letter “J”. Please bring in something that starts with the letter “J”.
