Thank you all for joining us for our Seder this week in Room 9. The room transformed into a beautiful space to welcome you all as our guests. The kids were extremely proud to show off all their hard work with what they had learned. Their knowledge of the holiday sure did shine through. The feeling of community was strong, and the kids did an amazing job.
With the huge rain storm starting on the first day of Spring, we were able to discuss season changes as well as weather changes. We opened the door to hear the sound of the rain falling on the roof and the space around us. We read a book called, What Will the Weather Be? And we were able to discuss in detail weather patterns and what happens to the earth when it rains. We worked on our Passover journal page this week. The kids sat down at a table and retold the Passover story in their own words. Before retelling the story, they sat down to draw a piece of what they wanted from the story. We saw a lot of detailed frogs from one of the ten plagues, lots of matzah, Pharoah and even baby Moses. Their drawings are progressing and we are seeing a lot more detail in their pictures. We hope all all have a nice and meaningful Passover holiday. We look forward to seeing you again back at school on April 9th!
