Dear Famlies, Room 14 has had a wonderful week! On Wednesday, we had Stephanie and Dylan cook with us. We made hot dogs in a blanket, French fries and sweet potato fries. The children enjoyed being a part of making our yummy snack for the day. The children discovered a butterfly resting on a bench in our yard. They were fascinated to see how the butterfly was “sleeping” and were even singing a lullaby to it. In light of their new discovery, we have decided to explore the world of butterflies! On Thursday, we had another cooking experiment. We made pumpkin muffins to go along with our fall and Thanksgiving theme. The children had the opportunity to measure, pour, and mix different ingredients into our bowl and then poured them into a muffin tin. We baked them in our oven and they were delicious! We also had music with teacher Brock and we had a great time singing new songs including the Hebrew Alphabet and dancing on our carpet! On Friday, we had our Shabbat with Liam and his family! We colored our Shabbat placemats, and enjoyed saying our Shabbat prayers for the candles, wine and challah. The children enjoyed going to temple to sing with Ditza and Rabbi Josh. We would like to thank our friends for another amazing week, and we look forward to exploring more next week! Shabbat Shalom and have a great weekend! Love, Tiffany & Sarah Thanks Debra & Adam for our healthy snack! Stephanie & Dylan for cooking with us! Liam & Family for our beautiful plant and challah on Shabbat!
