Dear Room 14 Families,
What a special week we’ve had together. We enjoyed having our fathers and grandfathers visit us at school! We enjoyed tricycle express on Monday and we made Purim masks. We used paint, sequins and glitter to make them vibrant and beautiful. Tuesday we made hamentashen dough and on Wednesday we made hamentashen! We got to eat them for snack and even got to take one home to share! Thursday Brock came to sing with us. We learned some Purim songs and had lots of fun. Friday we had an extra special Shabbat with our fathers and grandfathers! The children love to ride and run together on the basketball court. We continued to learn about Purim and heard the story with all of the characters again. We know all of their names now! We are continuing to add “Mitzvah Hearts” to our “Mitzvah Plant” every day. Thank you to those families who are writing down your child’s mitzvahs. Please continue to encourage being a kind, helpful, loving friend at home, as we are focusing on this at school. We went to the library this week with Jason’s mom, Parisa. They read us a great story about “Knuffle Bunny”. It was all about sharing and being a good friend (a common theme in our class). We are having lots of fun learning together. Looking forward to another great week ahead! Have a wonderful weekend and Shabbat Shalom! Love, Sarah & Tiffany Reminders: March is here! Purim is here!
