Dear Room 13 Families,
Wow, what a week . . . what a year! It is hard to believe how quickly this school year has flown by. Guess it really is true, time flies when you are having fun (making new friends, exploring new opportunities and studying new topics)! We began our amazing week with our final beautiful Havdalah service. We joined our Explorer community to sing the blessings and wish one another a Shavuah tov, a good week. We then returned to the classroom to celebrate Josiah’s birthday. After a wonderful celebration the children continued wrapping up our end of the year projects. On Tuesday, the children greatly enjoyed our final sports themed Yoga adventure. As we returned to the room, we, yet again, came back for birthday celebrations. This time, we had the pleasure to celebrate with all of our summer birthdays! To close out our day, the children helped to pack up all of their artwork and photos from around the room. By the children helping in this process, we feel it aids in giving them a bit of closure to our year. Our last day of school, was filled with center time fun, playing on the yard, a delicious snack and overall, enjoying our time together as a community! We want to give a huge thank you to all of you, our wonderful parents and families here in Room 13. Together we have built a beautiful community, which has led to an amazing learning environment. Thank you all for a wonderful year! Please do not hesitate to come and say hi any time! We also want to give a giant thank you to Tiffany, our wonderful and amazingly helpful Room Parent! Thank you for all of your help and support throughout our year. We hope you all have an amazing summer and look forward to seeing you all again in the Fall! Take care, Hannah and Chen
