Dear Room 13 Families,
Wow! What a wonderful, amazing and yet again, Passover-filled week! It was so amazing to start off the week with all of you, coming together as a class community to celebrate such an important holiday. It was so meaningful having you all here to sit around our Seder table asking questions, hearing the story of Passover, singing holiday songs, saying blessings and enjoying our community as we ate and talked with one another. We also want to give a big thank you to everyone who brought something in to add to the deliciousness of our Seder. Thank you all! Throughout the rest of our week, we continued our Passover celebrations by finishing up our Seder plates, reading more Passover stories and singing more Passover songs. The children greatly enjoyed getting their hands full of very sticky dough, rolling and pricking it all to create their very own matzah! We continued to enjoy our frog related math and fine motor activities and even a challenging Passover memory game. We greatly enjoyed our time at Yoga, as we headed to Egypt for our adventure with the characters from our Passover story! On Thursday, we heard a wonderful Passover related story during our “Storah” Time with Rabbi Sari, reminding us to focus on the miracles that occur all around us because if we are too busy complaining, we might miss them. We then headed to the Music Room where we sang more Passover songs with Andrew. On Wednesday, we had the joy of celebrating as Lennon and Lorne turned 4 years old and on Thursday, we excitedly celebrated Lilly’s 4th birthday! Thank you to both families for joining us for these wonderful celebrations. We ended our amazing week with a beautiful Shabbat, celebrating with Josiah and his family. We want to wish you all a Shabbat Shalom, Chag Sameach and a wonderful, safe vacation. We look forward to seeing you all when we return to school on Monday, April 29th! Shabbat Shalom, Hannah and Chen Reminders: *Please remember to sign your child in and out, with a legible signature, EVERY day.
