Dear parents,
This week our friends in room 13 started off by working together as a team putting together a 100 piece (99- we are missing a piece). "Noah's Ark” puzzle. One of us anchored the activity in the beginning and almost halfway through they were able to complete the task on their own. This is the third time they did it and it gets better each time. When putting together puzzles-your children are developing their organizational skills, learning patience, problem solving, hand eye coordination, refining their fine motor skills, developing spatial awareness, which helps to boost their self-esteem, etc. Watching your children's faces filled with pride when they completed their task was priceless. Your children are also working on many projects as we are getting ready for the holiday of Hanukkah. Using a two-step process they worked on an oil art project. It turned out to be spectacular. Since we have been learning about the miracle of oil, Thursday we had oil tasting too. Music with Brock on Thursday is always fun and we look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, December 18th at 11:15AM for our Hanukkah party. Have a great weekend and Shabbat Shalom! Bam and Lashelle
