Dear Room 14 Parents, This week has been short and sweet! We came back to school on Wednesday wearing our pajamas for “pajama day”! We worked on learning our shapes. We traced a foam circle, square, triangle and rectangle. We practiced our letter “A” and made one using three Popsicle sticks. We continued to make more Tu B’Shevat artwork. We had a special visit to Rabbi Spike’s office. He got to know us and then showed us his fish aquarium. He told us the names of the fish and showed us how he feeds them too. Thursday we had “crazy hair day” and music with teacher Brock. He taught the children about the tambourine. This came back to our shape lesson, being that it’s a circle. Bella and her family came for Shabbat, which was beautiful and special. We made a Shabbat cake with sprinkles while learning about mixing colors (food coloring). We are having so much fun together and learning a lot too! ~Thank you~ Dylan and Stephanie for supplying our healthy snack Bella and family for brining in the Shabbat with us Tiffany & Sarah RemindersStacy and Truman Library at 10:15 (meet in our classroom)
