A week of sunshine is just what the week brought us. We spent a lot of time outside playing and enjoying the beautiful weather. We watched as our beans grew into such beautiful plants. The children were so excited to see how the sun, water and their love really made their plants grow. “Teacher Erika, look at my plant, its HUGE.” We played in the sand box and made castles. “I found the bottom of the sandbox!” We also took out the bubbles and enjoyed running around and popping the bubbles. It was such a great week of outside play and fun.
Alexandra’s mom came in this week as a special treat and baked emotion cookies with our friends. The children got to mix, pour and stir all the ingredients. They got to flatten their dough and used raisins for eyes and mouths. The children really enjoy cooking and it has great benefits such as pre-math skills (measuring), science, comprehension (new words and recipes) and just plain old fun. We ended the week with a beautiful Shabbat with Eden and her family. We hope you have a wonderful long weekend. Reminders: Monday February 20- no school (Presidents Day) Tuesday February 21- no school (PD day) Friday February 24- Easton is Shabbat boy! ck here to edit.
