Dear Room 14 Families,
We have arrived at our last full week of school and we are making the most of every day. Our letter of the week is “M”. We made “muffins” out of paper, coffee filters and rhinestones. We also made the letter “M” out of colored tape on paper. We learned some words that start with the letter “M” (moon, mommy, monkey, muffin, mickey mouse, morning, mitten and movie). We continued to learn more about shapes, numbers and colors as well. We made some beaded jewelry, did some puzzles and built some amazing “hotels” and “towers” together. We talked more about sharing and being a good friend. We reminded the children that it’s wonderful when they want to bring in something from home, but if they bring it into the classroom, they need to share it with their friends. Please remind your child that it makes you happy when you share. We are getting lots of extra hugs in before our last day of school (June 3)! Thank you for all you do and for having such amazing children! Have a great weekend and Shabbat Shalom! Lots of love, Sarah & Tiffany Thank You: Sky & Family for our yummy healthy snack! Shahar & Family for a lovely Shabbat! Dylan & Darren for a fun birthday lunch! Reminders: Shavout is Saturday, May 23.
