Dear Parents-
We think FALL is finally here! Room 14 has had a wonderful week at school. Monday we had pajama day! The children were so excited to come to school in their pj's and bring their own stuffed animals. We decided to have a little waffle breakfast next door with our friends in Room 15. Tuesday we cooked and made apple crisp! The children really enjoy cooking especially when they get to add all the ingredients together. The reason we do so much cooking is because we’re not just making food, we are teaching science in action; helping to lay down basic math, reading and time-telling skills; encouraging healthy food choices; building confidence and creativity! Wednesday Brock came and we did music outside! The kids enjoyed playing with the triangles. Music is so important for our children because music ignites all areas of child development: intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Thursday we cooked a squash!!! The kids were amused by the shape and color and were surprised to find out it was actually edible. We ended the week with a beautiful Shabbat with Raymond and his family. We hope you have a wonderful weekend. Reminders: November 9 – Square Art Orders are due today November 10 – Library boy is Ray November 13- Shabbat Boy is Aria
