Dear Parents, What a fun-filled, short week we had in room 13. Pajama day was great! We visited Rabbi Spike’s office dressed in our PJ’s and all of the students were proud to tell him both their first and last names. Rabbi Spike is truly a special friend! This week your children are worked on the letter “C”. We named it, “Clowning Around with C’s.” We asked them to say the different words they knew that started with “c” and here are some of the words they came up with: cat, cow, caterpillar, cocoon, color, cake, candy, etc. Thursday, “Crazy Hair Day” was hysterical and we thank you for your fun ideas. Music with Brock is always engaging and we learned a new song Tu B’Shevat. After music time, we harvested lettuce from our garden and your children enjoyed dipping it in balsamic vinaigrette. We also want to thank Bennett and his family for bringing in a kitchen play set, costumes (Purim) and many great books for our class to enjoy. Creative play is a wonderful way for the children to learn and grow! Have a great weekend and Shabbat Shalom! Bam and Lashelle RemindersReservations Preferred: We hope you’ll be joining us next Friday evening, January 30 at 5:30 p.m. for our next evening Tot Shabbat. As always, we have a wonderful evening planned with Rabbi Spike Anderson, Ditza and a delicious meal prepared by one of our Temple caterers, Tarte. Since Tu B’Shevat, The New Year of the Trees, is the following week, we will have some thematically-planned and age appropriate activities for you and your family to enjoy.
