Dear Room 13 parents,
We started our week by welcoming our new friend, Devon who joined our class on Monday. Your children are helping him feel welcome by including him in their play. We have learned that he is highly allergic to any kind of nuts and so we are asking for your help to not send anything with peanuts or tree nuts at school. We truly appreciate your help, and understanding regarding this matter. And yes, we went to tricycle express and what a delight to see everybody ride and pedal their tricycles with so much confidence. Wednesday was our first visit to the library and we checked out books to read in our classroom. Your children are learning what it means to borrow and the responsibility that comes with it. After our library visit, we went on a nature walk to collect things to add on to our Fall display. All these beautiful things we have collected will be used for different projects that we have planned for the fall season. Your children had a blast as they used binoculars during our walk. Along with all these busy activities, your children are enjoying many games that we play in the classroom. I.e., Colors and shapes Bingo, Hoot Owl Hoot, ask your children about these games. What a fun way to learn! Shabbat Shalom! Bam and Lashelle
