We have had another great, busy, and fun filled week! We started our week discussing the holiday of Simhat Torah. Your children are learning about what the Torah teaches us. We have discussed that the Torah teaches us about kindness, family, friendships, community, love, patience and being humble. The children are learning to understand that God is watching when they play nicely with each other. We went to the temple on Tuesday and your children had a chance to see closely the many Torah that we have at the temple. Our explorers have a collaboratively worked together by cutting and pasting pictures and words that make up our own version of the Torah. Please take a moment to stop by and see what's in our classroom Torah. On Wednesday, we celebrated friendship by having lunch at the sukkah with all of our friends from Room 12. It was such a joy to watch and listen to their many conversations. We are looking forward to start exploring our "Fall" unit next week. We are sure that it's going to be an exciting and learning filled experience. We hope you all have a great weekend.
